Yesterday was an exciting day. We began the day visiting the king center and watching a civil rights movie. I really appreciated visiting this area because it reminded me that there was a time where all the things i take for granted now, were once not available to me. After visiting the King center we went on a tour to see Dr. King's birth home. It was really cool to see what wealthy houses looked like when Dr. King was growing up. My favorite room in the house was the kitchen because it was drastically different from kitchens today.
My favorite part of the day was going out to dinner and being able to see John Cross at dinner. For dinner we went to Justins (P. Diddy's restaurant) and we had a really good time. It was all laughs from the bread rolls all the way to the peach cobbler with ice cream ( which was the dessert). We all exchanged funny stories and previous bonner memories that will never be forgotten.
